Prairie Makes

As promised I thought it would be nice to share all the beautiful things that have been made with my Prairie fabrics already.  The fabric has only been out a few weeks so I can’t quite believe how quickly people have got sewing with it!  It’s been amazing to see all the wonderful things that have been made that I just had to share them with you.

First up is this beautiful dress made by the lovely ladies over at Fabric HQ.  This was the very first thing I spotted made from the fabrics and I think they made it the very same day as the fabric arrived at their shop!  I’m very proud to say that this cute little dress sits happily in their shop window.  They have lots of different dressmaking patterns on their website so you can have a go yourself.

Next was this gorgeous quilt made by Kate from the Homemakery. I love how she’s used the bright pink contrasting crochet edge and think it just brings all the patterns together beautifully.  Kate didn’t waste any time either as I spotted this quilt only a few days after the fabric arrived at her shop too!

Kate got so carried away by her love of Prairie (her own words!) that she even put together this fab Prairie Homemakery Collection which consists of  Felt, threads, fabric and pretty ribbons to help inspire all you makers out there!  I’m very tempted to make some lampshades using one of their kits!

And finally but by no means least are these super cute dresses made by Bree from A Pocketful Of Alice.  I think they’re so pretty and love how she’s photographed them too. You can see all the other different children’s clothes she makes over on her Facebook Page.

I really hope you’ve enjoyed seeing these first few makes from my Prairie fabrics as much as I have.  I’d love to see more of them so if you spot any or make any yourself then please do let me know and I’ll be sure to share them on here.  Happy sewing!
